Congregation Kol Ami Chicken BBQ and Block Party

From 11:00AM to 12:00AM

Congregation Kol Ami invites you to their annual Chicken BBQ and block Party! August 18th 11AM - Till Gone at 1008 W. Water St. Elmira, NY. This event is open to all and has tons of great activities for the whole family, including raffles, adoptable puppies and kittens, slime making, a dunk tank, and so much more! A chicken meal which includes a Kosher ½ chicken, baked beans, and cornbread is $10. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the Congregation Kol Ami Office at 607-732-7410 or visiting www.kolamielmira.org/bbq. You can also buy a meal the day of the event without a ticket. Wagstock

Join us for the Wagstock event at Hazlitt’s 1852 Winery on August 16, featuring Stratcat Willie & The Strays playing your favorite Blues. Fun & Friends! No cover. Family Friendly. Beverages, fresh bread baskets, snacks, and wine slushies available. Scale House Brewery pizza available at the bar. We will have a tent set up selling our beautiful tie-dye t-shirts to raise money for our furry friends. In addition, a portion of the Oasis drink sales during the event will be donated to the Humane Society so make sure you come out, listen to some great music, have a good time and help out the dogs and cats at the Shelter.

Delaware County Fair

This 133rd annual event features midway rides, live music, livestock events, horse shows, motorsports, Buffalo Barfield musical comedy shows, Cowboy Circus, 4-H and community exhibits, karaoke competitions, contests, favorite fair food and more. Highlights include Brad Collins Band (8pm Monday); Antique Tractor Pull (9:30am Tuesday); Hop City Hellcats (8pm Wednesday); The Driftwoods (7pm Thursday); Sundown Band (8pm Friday); and Fireworks Over the Fairgrounds (9pm Saturday). Daily fair admission is $8, $18 for a season pass, and free for ages 12 & younger. Unlimited ride wristbands are $25. A Mega Pass (1-day admission & rides) is $25 online through Aug. 11.
