11:00AM 6:00PM Benefit for Baby Jackson Benefit for Baby Jackson. Jackson was born prematurely April 28th with Congenital Gastroschisis and immediately transferred to Strong Memorial Hospital to undergo surgery to correct the birth defect. During his time in the NICU, he was also diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Jackson is now home, and happy at 8 months old; but his journey is far from over. He is seen by a Dietitian, Respiratory Therapist, GI Specialist, and a Pulmonologist. At this time, Jackson is struggling with weight gain, diet friendly eating, and malabsportion. There will be a Spaghetti Dinner, 50/50, Basket Raffle, Hourly Door Prizes, and more! Live music from Gemini, Off the Wagon & Zoar. The benefit will be held on March 23, 2019 from 11am - 6pm at the Moose Lodge on 66 Seneca Street Hornell, NY. GriefShare is a free weekly help seminar providing encouragement for those who are grieving the death of a loved one. The program presents a 13-week series of educational videos and materials based on biblical principles that specifically address grief-related topics and issues. Weekly meetings begin Monday, March 18 at 5 pm and will run through June 17 at the Wayland Free Library, 101 W Naples St. You can join the sessions at any time during the series. All Day Steuben County SWCD Tree Sale Steuben County Soil and Water Conservation District is holding it's annual Conservation Tree Sale. People can call for a tree order form or stop in our office. Last day to order is April 1st. Tree pickup will be 4/26 and 4/27. All trees are bare root, locally grown and help with conservation efforts in the county in various ways I.E. lessen soil erosion, create animal habitats and food. Our phone number is (607)776-7398x3.
